Zach Salazar, MPH, CHES
Research Program Manager
Zach spent nearly four years at a grassroots harm reduction agency in North Carolina supporting innovative harm reduction programs, bolstering organizational infrastructure, and facilitating community-driven research projects. Prior to his time on the ground, he earned his B.S. in Health Education from the University of Florida and his MPH in Community Health Education from UNC Greensboro. He is also a Certified Health Education Specialist. He brings his years of community-based program planning, implementation, and evaluation experience to his role coordinating implementation of the SHIELD 2.0 Training Initiative in Kentucky.
